Training a puppy can be hard work. You may not know where to start or you may have problems with teaching certain skills.

Wagging Wonders is here to help you and your puppy have an easier life! Wagging Wonders has been running successful puppy classes in Lincoln for over 10 years.

The courses are run by Zara Lipsett, Trainer & Behaviourist, and all courses use modern positive & force - free training methods. Meaning your puppy can learn without fear!

SUPPORTIVE COACHING

Training to help you and your puppy learn is non judgemental and supportive. Where needed tasks are tailored to the pups current skillset and how they can best progress.

Classes have only 4 pups in- this ensures you and your pup get plenty of individual attention and fewer distractions.

Reduced numbers helps your puppy learn tasks quicker without overwhelm or over excitement.

MODERN & EFFECTIVE TRAINING TECHNIQUES

Zara uses modern and force free training techniques to get the best out of your puppy.

Modern positive training will teach your puppy teach your puppy recall, lead manners, self control and more without stress.

This will create a happier, more relaxed and confident companion as they mature into adults.

ONLINE PUPPY LIBRARY

An online puppy library packed with information on house training nipping, socialising and much more. Valued at £30 included FREE.

Each week you get emails for each class. This includes brief notes, sheets with various levels to progress a task and videos.

This means you can keep up learning at home even if you might have forgotten something or a family member couldn't make it.

This helps keep everyone on the same page making for more consistency and results for your puppy.

What is Included?

You will be emailed out an information package when you are due to start with information covering nipping, house training, problem solving, feeding and much more!

Each class includes explanations for a task, individual attention and q&A on the tasks and games.

Weekly sheets and videos are sent out in addition to this.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT AGE IS THIS SUITABLE FOR?

Puppy Power Classes are suitable for pups from 12 weeks up to 6 months. Other courses are available for dogs 6 months and over.

DOES MY PUPPY NEED FULL VACCINATIONS?

This is an important conversation to have with your vet, however, Wagging Wonders accepts pups from 2 weeks post 1st vaccinations. Pups can be carried into the hall to reduce risk. However socialisation will be an important part of helping your puppy become confident. And the younger you start the better.

CAN MORE THAN ONE OWNER ATTEND?

Of course! You are welcome to bring your partner, children or a friend to classes. This helps everyone to be on the same page with your puppy to set them up for success.

MY PUPPY BARKS AT OTHER DOGS, WOULD THIS SUIT HIM?

Puppies who bark at other dogs may be very overwhelmed by being in a room of dogs. This will make it difficult for them to concentrate and for others to. If you know your puppy barks, classes are not suitable, however I do offer 121 training for pups who may have this problem.

DO THE PUPPIES GO OFFLEAD?

Wagging Wonders does not do offlead "puppy party" type events during classes. This is because these often cause problems with a puppy. We will teach you skills to handle life with your puppy day to day.

HOW DO YOU TRAIN?

Wagging Wonders does not use old fashioned methods such as physical corrections or shouting at a puppy. Instead, Zara coaches owners to use positive methods to teach skills for life.

Zara is absolutely brilliant! We have a cocker spaniel puppy (just finished lessons at 4 1/5 months old) and unfortunately had a bad experience at a local trainers in Gainsborough which was for hunting dog breeds. It was very strict, far too stimulating being outdoors for our pup and we never got help when struggling due to large class size.

My husband found Zara and she has been great! Her classes are smaller in size and indoors meaning she can come round to you and give you the attention required and you can ask questions if needed. If somethings not quite working she has a number of other options to try. There's also breaks for the dogs so they're not getting over worked / over stimulated.

Even if your pup knows a few commands already it's still great as Zara goes into detail as to why we do certain commands and how it can help the pup when applying it to outside.

We've travelled to Lincoln to do the classes and haven't regretted it. Zara is very kind and patient and made us feel very comfortable from day 1. I highly recommend her.
